Coronavirus (COVID-19) - from 27th May 2022
As the risk of Covid-19 infection continues to fall in the UK, the Government have updated the legislation regarding Covid-19 Infection and Prevention Controls and have withdrawn the ruling to enforce the wearing of masks and PPE in healthcare clinical settings, unless there is a known Covid infection risk.
In response to this, the General Chiropractic Council has amended its clinical guidance for registrants, and patients and staff are no longer required to wear masks in clinic, unless there is risk of Covid-19 infection.
However, if you wish to continue to wear a mask, please feel free to do so, and if you would like us to do so, please just ask.
We will continue to undertake appropriate risk assessments, and in some instances, may continue to deploy necessary PPE.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) - from 5 November 2020
We are STILL OPEN!!!
In accordance with the latest Government guidelines, and statutory regulations from Public Health England, we are able to remain OPEN during the second national lockdown, 5 November 2020.
Chiropractic is listed as one of the healthcare providers that are exempt from lockdown restrictions (part 3, item 47, page 32). "...a number of public services will also stay open and you will be able to leave home to visit them. These include: the NHS and medical services like GPs. Coronavirus (COVID-19) - from 15 June 2020
In line with the Government’s easing of lockdown conditions, and following the advice of our professional organisations - the British Chiropractic Association, the Royal College of Chiropractors and the General Chiropractic Council - we are pleased to announce that we are now able to resume face-to-face appointments for all our patients.
All face-to-face consultations will require a telephone/video call first to determine the best care for you.
Your health and wellbeing remains our priority, and we have made this decision following a thorough clinical risk assessment and review of our clinic protocols and procedures. These include screening for COVID-19 symptoms, social distancing measures, updated hygiene and cleaning protocols, and the wearing of masks/face-covering for patients and PPE for the clinician.
If you would like to make an appointment, or are unsure if you should come in, please call us 01989 567222 or email [email protected] - we are here to help and can advise you accordingly.
For those higher risk (>70yrs, pregnant, underlying health conditions), please contact the clinic for further details. A telehealth consultation may still be the best option for some patients and carries no risk of COVID-19 whatsoever.
We will continue to update and review our policies in accordance with government guidelines.
